Hi there! My name is Dawn, I'm 33 and I reside in Michigan. My husband David and I have been married for ten years and together we have two beautiful children. Our daughter, Kaitlyn, is eight and our son, Ryan, is five.  I am truly passionate about making beads.   I sit down to work and I just create! It is so awesome to watch the glass as it turns into a honey state and then you mold it into anything you want!  My husband made me a nice little bead studio in our basement. Our family is very involved in our business. They are very interested in what is new. I have taken a class at The Toledo Museum of Art. But, I'd have to say that I've learned the most from reading everything I can get my hands on. Most importantly is practicing at the torch... trial and error! It's a great feeling to try something new and for it to work.  The thing that fascinates me most is that I'm creating beads that I ship all over the world. People everywhere are wearing my creations! I love that. I've also developed some wonderful friendships with lots of talented jewelry designers and fellow lampworkers!  If you do buy my work, buy with confidence!  All of my beads are properly annealed in a computerized kiln.
